The grand opening of Vici’s Front Porch & Tea Garden will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1109 Mill Street, Maeystown, Illinois. Lunch will be served featuring heritage seasonal menu items.
Visit the Colonial style tea room and gift shop located in the heart of Maeystown, located next door to the Mill Museum. Gift shop offers handmade and all natural items; candles, soaps, bath salts, lip glosses, honey, chocolate sauces, chair pads and more.
The tea room is accepting reservations for groups of 10 to 20 for luncheons, brunches, showers, birthday parties, ladies groups, rehearsal dinners and private events.Open during Maeystown events.
Shop and dine Maeystown for the“Frauenabend” Ladies night out November 16, 2012 from 5:00–9:00 p.m. The tea room will serve Pumpkin Bisque, Ham & Cheese Quiche Cups with Hollandaise Sauce, Honey Apple Gems, Chocolate Fudge Cake or Orange Cake with Chantilly Cream for $12.00/person.
Colonial dinners served in period clothing featuring “Foods of Our Forefathers.” (limited seating) November 23, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $35.00/person and advance reservations are required
Old Fashioned German Christmas Sunday, December 2, 2012 11:00–5:00 p.m. Vici’s Front Porch & Tea Garden will be serving Weinacht Stew and Christmas Strudel.
