For the first time, Historic Maeystown will sponsor “Frauenabend” on Friday, November 16, 2012, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. in the town center. Frauenabend, or Ladies Night Out, will feature unique dining, shopping and pampering for the holidays.
Vici’s Front Porch and Tea Garden will be open for dinner during the event, with dining from 4:30-8:30 p.m. The menu will feature Pumpkin Bisque, Ham and Cheese Quiche Cups with Hollandaise Sauce, Honey Apple Gems, and your choice of either Chocolate Fudge Cake or Orange Dream Cake with Chantilly Cream, Raspberry Tea and Hot Mulled Cider. The cost will be $12 per person.
A variety of holiday shopping and pampering experiences will be offered for the evening. The Maeystown General Store will offer private label food samplings, the Village Kaffeehaus will feature its Smooth Brew and teas, the Sweet Shoppe will offer discounts on teapots, Georgia Mae’s Antiques will offer discounts on select items, and the Preservation Society Museum will be open for visitors.
Special vendors for the event will include Pat Dunn, florals; Paige Williams, olive oils and wine tastings; Mary Hummert, unique jewelry featured on Great Day St Louis; Gina Hefflinger of Sew Inspired Monogrammed Gifts and More; Sheree Bingheim, felt hats; Connie Cammarata, LMT will offer chair massages; and Alison Toenjes, consultant for BeautiControl, will feature handscrubs and more.
The Corner George Inn Bed and Breakfast is offering ladies a 20% discount on room reservations for the night of Nov 16, 40% off a twonight stay on Nov 16-17, and 20% off all gift certificates purchased between November 16-18.
