Spring Art Show

Featuring the work of local artists. Held in March of each year on varying weekends. The show is sponsored by Historic Maeystown. Its mission is to highlight and recognize the works of local artists in the Monroe and Randolph County area. Art will be displayed from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m in the ballroom of Corner George Inn and at the Preservation Society Mill and Museum both days. Apple Butter Making

Peeling: Friday, September 26, 2014 Time: 8:00am-1:00pm Stirring: Saturday, September 27, 2014 Time: 6:00am-3:00pm Instruction in the art of making apple butter will be provided at the restored 1859 rock mill in Maeystown.  Members of the Maeystown Preservation Society will demonstrate various apple peeling and stirring methods in preparation for the annual Oktoberfest in October.  Apple peeling will take place at the mill between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday the 24th.  Apple stirring will begin at 6 a.m.…

Oktoberfest

Arts, Crafts and Antique Fair. Experience the sounds and smells of Autumn. Second Sunday in October each year Featuring arts, crafts, antiques and food from 9:00-4:00 p.m. at the area around the stone mill and bridge. More than 50 artisans, crafters, dealers, and numerous food stands will be featured. Arts and crafts will include rug weaving, felting, blacksmithing, photography, woodworking, and a country store. Food will include turtle soup, potato pancakes and popcorn cooked in old-fashioned kettles. Frauenabend

Enjoy an evening just for the ladies! Frauenabend, or Ladies Night Out, will feature unique dining, shopping and pampering for the holidays. Vici’s Front Porch and Tea Garden will be open for dinner during the event, with dining from 4:30-8:30 p.m. A variety of holiday shopping and pampering experiences will be offered or the evening. An Old Fashioned German Christmas in Maeystown
